Before you submit your manuscript, ensure it is in standard manuscript format.

The easiest method is to download the template below. Copy your entire manuscript, and paste it into the template by selecting “Edit” and “Paste and match formatting.”

Formatting Checklist #

  • Double-spaced font
  • 12-point Times New Roman
  • 1-inch margins
  • Standard A4 page size
  • Left-aligned text
  • 0.5″ first-line indent
  • No manual tabs (using tab button)
  • One space between sentences

Tip: If you have extra spaces or manual tabs and aren’t sure how to use find and replace to remove them, bring them to your proofreader’s attention.
